PADDLEBOARDING
Advisable earlier in the morning or late afternoon when the sea is at its calmest and the sun is more forgiving. Turn right out of Blue Apple to see some fabulous private villas and another small beach. Text us or ask at reception to have the boards and paddles brought to the beach.
Free of charge. Security Deposit Applies.
EXPLORING ON FOOT
Turn left out of our gate to get to the village and San Fernando fortress a (15 minute walk). We recommend going to the village with a local guide, to avoid getting lost or harassed by overly zealous vendors.
Free of charge. Tip for a local guide.
MOTORBIKE ISLAND TOUR
The afternoon 'moto-tour' as it is known, is a fantastic way to get a taste of local village life. You will ride pillion on a motorbike driven by one of the island's mototaxistas, who will take you to visit all the important cultural sites, as well as showing you around town and stopping for a beer or two as the sun sets. If you do one thing while you're here, do this.

MASSAGE
Noris, Marielsy and Yindis are all from Bocachica and also offer reflexology and hair braiding. We can organise for your treatment on your balcony or in your room for more privacy.
Given the current climate, we strongly advise against receiving a massage from a vendor on the beach. Should you choose to do so, be aware that the free trial often turns out not to be free. Be sure to clearly fix the price and time first. We recommend showing it to your masseuse in writing on your phone to avoid a misunderstanding at the time of payment.

ROSARIO ISLANDS
The turquoise waters and white sandy beaches of the Rosario Islands are one of the highlights of the Colombian Caribbean and the best way to enjoy them is in your own boat, under your own steam. Swim and snorkel at La Piscinita, see a sunken aeroplane and abandoned villa, witness the mayhem of weekend party spot Cholon, enjoy a simple, traditional lunch on the secluded Isla Bela, lie back on the gorgeous beach Playa Azul and stop by famed Playa Blanca on the way home. A full day of fun.
