From the days when we were setting up and couldn't afford to buy art (!) Blue Apple has always been a creative, contributive space for artists, musicians, yogis, photographers, marine biologists, environmental engineers, anthropologists and anyone else who has something to share with us, our guests and our community, in exchange for board and lodging.

The offer is not limited to artists. We accept residents who can help us in our mission to achieve environmental regeneration and social equality on our island.

CONDITIONS

Accommodation is in our Residents' Bungalow and includes all meals and soft drinks. Alcohol is additional, but artists receive a 30% discount and can also bring their own supplies from the city, no problem. The bunglaow has a simple kitchen. Plus ones are welcome for a stipend of US $40 per day.

Your offer will ideally be of benefit to Blue Apple and also include an element that contributes either the environmental repair or the local community. (e.g. yoga classes for guests and staff or neighbours; painting for the hotel and a mural in town; building a regenerative farm and teaching local kids about farming). Be creative and think about how you can improve our world.

Spanish is helpful but not essential. If your idea is great, we can help with the language. ​

Residencies are from minimum 1 week to maximum 3 months.
