DRUGS
We may as well start with the serious stuff. Don't worry, it gets lighter from here.
You can be arrested, fined and prosecuted for purchase or possession of any illegal substances. Please don't embarrass our staff or risk their livelihoods by asking them to help you source drugs. Any member of staff caught supplying drugs will be instantly dismissed. If anyone (uniformed or otherwise) offers you drugs, please inform management. Please join us in earning Colombia a new reputation, for more positive things.
Imprisonment, infinite fine, ruined prospects
SMOKING
Like almost everywhere else on the planet, it's not OK to smoke in your bedroom or bathroom. A 250,000 peso penalty cleaning fee will apply if you do so. When smoking outside, be considerate of others. If your smoke is bothering anyone, we will ask you to stop or to smoke elsewhere. For that reason, we never allow cigars in the restaurant area, as it is impossible to not affect everyone else. And... try not to drop your cigarette butts on the ground or in the plants. Firstly, eugh, and secondly, someone has to pick them up. It provides a job but it’s a miserable job and puts prices up for everyone.
250,000 pesos
MUSIC
You'll have noticed we like music, so you'll hear it from 10am - 6pm. At the weekend we have a DJ who plays from 1pm - 6pm. This is published on our website, so don't be surprised, indignant or ask us to turn it down or off. If you didn't read the website (because you were looking for a cheap deal on booking.com), that's not our bad. #justsaying
Be considerate of other guests when enjoying your music in your room. For that reason, we do not allow the use of personal speakers anywhere on Blue Apple grounds outside of your room. If we can hear it, we'll ask you to turn it off. Be warned, we have confiscated speakers in the past, and we are ready to do it again.
LOST ROOM KEYS
Leave your room keys at reception when leaving the property (and when checking out).
Lost keys, or the ones that end up back in your home country will be charged for.
50,000 pesos
DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS
Our pets are well fed, so please don’t feed them from your table, it gets them into bad habits, which gets us into trouble with other customers, and worse...
Sad story alert:
In 2019 we lost a puppy who was fed from the table by too many well-meaning guests. She developed internal bleeding and could not be saved. Guests seen feeding the animals from their table will be asked to leave the property. Please, please, don't give your food to our pets.
