Blue Apple Beach is a laid-back beach club and boutique hotel located just 20 minutes from Cartagena, where like-minded locals and in-the-know visitors enjoy lazy days, music and great food in a tropical island setting. Blue Apple's founder, Portia Hart, spent nearly a decade working with yachts on the Côte d'Azur before moving home to the Caribbean (her mother is from Trinidad & Tobago).
In Blue Apple, Portia has blended top level comfort and personalised service with a laid-back, home-away-from home setting that places community and staff on an equal footing with guests.
It's still luxury, it just feels better (for everyone).

EXECUTIVE CHEF
PEDRO MOSQUEDA
Chef trained at the Gato Dumas Institute in Bogota and then worked in leading Colombian kitchens run by Ivan Galofre, Harry Sasson and Nicolas De Zubiria, before moving to New York. There, he joined 3-star Michelin Chef Jean Georges’ team at The Mark Hotel and later James Beard winner Galen Zamara’s MAS Farmhouse. His final kitchen before making his way home, was April Bloomfield's Michelin-starred The Breslin.
Here at Blue Apple, Pedro is committed to a farm-to-table ethos and sharing his international training and experience with young cooks who otherwise would not have the opportunities he has enjoyed.

So many people asked us if we had a similar place in town, that eventually we made one. Townhouse has 11 rooms (just like us), a busy rooftop terrace bar with the best view in town, and its own tiny jazz club, Members Only.
